Production Warehouse Operative

Our well established client based in Hitchin are looking for a Production Warehouse Operative to join their busy and fast-paced team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience within the Industrial Sector. This is a Temp to Perm position.

Pay rate: £12.00 per hour for first 12 weeks, rising to £12.57 after the 12 week period
Working hours: PM shift to start, moving on to Rotational Shifts (6am-2pm & 2pm-10pm)

Duties for a Production Warehouse Operative:
– Goods in (booking in deliveries and sampling goods), manually picking and moving up to 25kg bags/boxes – Pivot Steer Truck license required
– Goods out (loading full pallets on to designed trailers) – Power Pallet Truck license required
– Picking sales orders (picking full pallets to prepare goods for loading) where some manual lifting may be required – Pivot Steer Truck license required
– Manually picking works order crate’s (up to 400 bag requirements, bag lifters available), picking up to 25kg bags/boxes – Pivot Steer Truck license required
– Learning and understanding palletiser manual lifting may be required (Machine Operating) – Pivot Steer Truck license required
– Booking on pallets
– Putting away stock in a timely manner
– Attention to detail is a must to control stock accuracy – Manual Lifting may be required
– Good housekeeping

What is needed for a Production Warehouse Operative:
– Pivot Steer Truck license
– Power Pallet Truck license
– MHE Training and knowledge
– Pivot Steer P1 (Flexi VNA) or PPT A2 licenses are desirable but not essential
