Senior NPD Technologist

The Role
Hain Daniels are currently recruiting for a Senior NPD Technologist for Histon. In Histon, we manufacture a host of ambient sweetspreads and jellies for our grocery brands. These includes Hartley'sjams and jellies, Gale's honey, Rose's and Robertsons marmalade's.
The role of the Senior NPD Technologist is to create & deliver quality branded products through innovation & upgrading which satisfy the business strategies. Work with the team to develop and deliver the ‘best in class’ commercially viable products from approved product brief to launch, ensuring that the Hain Daniels Group Stage and Gate Launch Procedure is followed principally supporting the NPD Managers

• **Key Responsibilities:

• Personally demonstrate the correct safety behaviours, ensuring safe operating practices are followed and Complete Near Miss reports
• To manage the development & delivery of best in class commercially viable products for the branded business from approved product brief to launch
• Create and Write new recipes for NPD projects
• Co-ordinate / carry out daily trial activities, assessing new raw materials and ensuring draft process control documentation is prepared in advance

• Food related degree or relevant experience
• 3 years minimum NPD experience, ingredient functionality, analytical laboratory skills
• Full driving licence
• Good Communication skills
