We are looking for an experienced Butcher to join the team at our Framwellgate Moor shop, Durham. Working 5 days p/w over Mon-Sat. Part time hours also available. The successful candidate will be responsible for cutting, trimming, and preparing meat products for sale. The Butcher will also be responsible for ensuring that all meat products are of the highest quality and meet health and safety standards. The ideal candidate should have excellent knife skills, a keen eye for detail, and a commitment to providing excellent customer service.

Responsibilities:

• Cut, trim, and prepare meat for sale.
• Produce stir fry's, burger, kebabs for sale.
• Get creative with new innovative ideas to boost sales.
• Understand the different cuts of meat and their uses.
• Keep the work area clean and sanitary.
• Maintain accurate records of all transactions.
• Ensure that all products are stored properly and in accordance with food safety regulations.
• Set out an eye catching shop counter.
• Handle customer inquiries in a polite and professional manner.
• Maintain a safe working environment.
