Factory/Bakery Operative Production/Packing

Working a 4 on 4 off shift pattern which consists of 2 x 12-hour days followed by 2 x 12-hour nights.

£1 extra for all hours worked between 18:00 - 06:00

Overtime x 1.25 for hours worked above contract

Must be aged 18 or over due to shift work

Reporting to the Area Line Leader, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks associated with the production and packing of quality GBUK products in line with customer and company requirements. Adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices

· Ensure that all work is done safely, and the Associate applies the principles of “Clean as you Go” not only the area they are working but also in ancillary areas like the Changing Rooms, Canteen

Health & Safety

· Ensuring all Health& Safety assessments are considered when working and that all preventative measures are adhered to

Paperwork

· All relevant paperwork to be completed in a timely and accurate manner

Clean Downs

· Participate in all product and production area clean downs

HACCP

· Ensure that all CCP’s are monitored and observed throughout the shift

Multi-Skilling

· Flexible and willing to train across multiple areas and equipment throughout the factory, as and when required

Housekeeping

· Responsible for maintaining a high standard of cleanliness throughout the factory

Quality

· To ensure that all Bagels conform to customer requirements and any irregularities are reported to Area Line Leader

Teamwork

· Working closely with other members of the team and other departments to ensure reports and handovers are effective

Timekeeping

· Adhere to shift start/finish times and break entitlements

Other duties

· All other duties as allocated by the Area Line Leader / Production Manager
