Class 2 Night Driver

An excellent opportunity for a professional, experienced HGV Class 2 Driver to join our friendly, family run haulage company for a full time position with a regular scheduled job.

The role is specific and runs from Monday evening until Friday evening with every other Sunday night to be covered. The details are as follows:

Collect dedicated 18T box vehicle from our premises in Billericay at 19:00. Drive to Ely, CB6 and oversee loading onto the the vehicle. (Currently, CB6 warehouse shuts at 22:00)

Deliver goods to London SW1 at 04:00. Occasionally there then could be a delivery to Heathrow T5 which is booked at 05:30.

Bring vehicle back to CM11. Depending if you have T5 you will be back at our premises around 06:00 - 06:45

The run is extremely straightforward, it’s just the times that constrict us and make the shift longer as there is sitting around / sleeping from 22:00 until 01:30

The job is ideal for somebody who likes to know what they are doing without any interference.

The successful candidate needs to be smart, well mannered and respectful as this is a high profile client.

You must hold a current Class 2 driving licence with 1 years experience and valid Driver CPC and you must have your own transport to get to our depot.
