Project Manager – The Role
Groundfix are currently looking for a motivated and well organised Project Manager with groundworks and earthworks experience to join the site team initially on a housing development project at Sherford, Plympton.
- You will be responsible for leading/managing the day to day delivery of the project site team, Client interaction, and working closely with the client’s designers.
- Develop project plans / programmes
- Ensure compliance with client deadlines, material deliveries, engineering, quality, safety and contractual requirements
- Ensure effective cost control of the project
- Maintain and manage the relationship with the client and stakeholders
- Ensure successful project handover to the client, including O & M manuals, as-builts and the H & S file.
Project Manager – The Person
- The Successful candidate is to have extensive knowledge and experience in infrastructure works including bulk earthworks, drainage, services and road construction.
- Have a proven track record and experience in meeting customer expectations and to deliver projects on time and within budget.
- Ideally experienced on both residential and non-residential projects
- High calibre individual who is committed to Health, safety and quality.
The candidate must also have :
- Excellent Health & Safety knowledge and awareness.
- SMSTS & CSCS qualified
- Ideally first aid qualified but not essential
- Good communication skills and be confident in liaising and dealing with the client, the general public, and third parties.

Experience :
- 3 years proven experience as a Project Manager and have a Civil engineering background
- Ability to lead, motivate and develop a team

Salary: £58,000.00-£70,000.00 per year
