FEA Engineer - CAE Consulting

Established in 2003, GRM is a leading CAE-based consultancy providing analysis, design and testing services to the engineering community. Due to continued expansion of its consultancy activities GRM seeks a Graduate CAE Engineer to support the delivery of client projects.

The FEA Engineer role is open to enthusiastic and forward-thinking engineers with a background in FEA looking to join a dynamic and expanding organisation. The role will involve working with GRM's clients in a wide variety of industries, including automotive, medical, motorsport and many more. Your exposure to a large range of engineering problems will be unique. You will become part of a talented and adept team, with a true culture of customer support and delivery. The role is based at the company's Leamington office and you will report to the Engineering Director.

The Candidate
You will have 3 to 4 years of experience in the application of FE methods, with experience of stress and/or impact analysis and be keen to further your knowledge of structural simulation techniques in the composites domain. You will have analysis experience using some of the following software packages: LS-Dyna, Nastran, Genesis, Abaqus, Ansa, HyperWorks, LS Pre-Post or Animator.

Remuneration
This is a permanent role with a company pension and remuneration appropriate for this level within the industry. The salary will be dependent on your industrial experience and will be in the range £30k to £45k. Further details about the company can be found at our website.
