Grizzly Hospitality – Trainee / Intern Accountant
As a young and energetic hospitality group, the performance of each individual person and crew counts for us. Working as one together, we can deliver expectational experiences to all our guests and visitors.
We are currently located in the most precious area in London - Covent Garden, however we are far from being at the end of our journey and are continuously expending.
Passionate, positive and bubbly personalities are the outstanding qualities we are looking for our new members and we believe success comes within strong team!
It is a full time position which we would require the candidate to work 5 days a week in our head office at Covent Garden.
Full training will be provided as follow:
- preparation of monthly management accounts report
- processing of daily cash-up sheets, banking and investigation of material cash differences, voids etc.
- production of weekly and monthly sales reports
- preparing weekly payments and remittance advises
- analysis of monthly sales figures against budget, forecast and investigate variances
- accounting for events, including maintenance of customer accounts and credit control
- accounting for all deposits received
- comparison of cash and credit card receipts to bank receipts, including analysis and investigate and resolve variances
- issue and account for inter-company cross-charge invoices monthly
- assist with preparation of budget & forecast schedules as required
- assist with the interim and year-end audits by producing an audit file & supporting schedules
- compile and file turnover information to the Landlords on time
- assist with quarterly VAT return submissions
- assist in implementing internal control procedures

- ability to meet strict accounting deadlines
