About the Company:

We are a leading travel company that specializes in both domestic and international travel. We are committed to providing our clients with exceptional travel experiences, and we are looking for a highly motivated Operations Manager to join our team.

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our travel company. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that our clients receive the highest level of service, managing our team of travel agents, and overseeing the company's financial performance.

You must have a strong grasp and understanding of the travel industry technology as well as evidence related examples of technology that you have been instrumental in implementing to a travel company.

Experience with GDS systems is a must

Please note this jobs requires 5 days in our Windsor Office. You must be able to commit to 5 days in the office per week. We do not operate a work from home programme

Responsibilities:

  • Manage a team of travel agents and support staff to ensure the highest level of service for our clients.
  • Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to ensure efficient and effective operations.
  • Ensure that all travel arrangements are booked accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Oversee the company's financial performance, including budgeting and forecasting.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and industry standards.
  • Monitor and analyze customer feedback to continually improve our service offering.
  • Manage relationships with vendors, suppliers, and partners to ensure the best possible rates and service levels.
  • Prepare regular reports for senior management on operational performance.
  • Accounting, CAA and ATOL Licensing

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 10 years' experience in travel operations management.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Strong financial management skills, including budgeting and forecasting.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience working with travel booking systems and other relevant software.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: £45,000.00-£60,000.00 per year
