Production Operator

Glendale Plastics is a second generation family owned manufacturer specialising in the design and manufacture of thermoformed packaging and the extrusion of sheet material.

We are looking to recruit experienced production personnel to work in our BRCGS accredited site in Glenrothes

Person Profile:

• Experience of working as Production Operator within manufacturing organisation
• Experience of fast-paced food production environment desirable, but not essential
• Capable of learning new skills quickly
• Willing to contribute to a team-working philosophy
• Able to work 8-hour shifts across 24/5 working pattern (Shift start times: Sunday at 10pm, Monday at 6am and Monday at 2pm)
• Excellent attendance and timekeeping record

Key Tasks:

• Pack plastic products with due care and attention to quality of the parts
• Record production data correctly and accurately on production documentation
• Identify and report faults with production parts or machinery
• Maintain safe and clean work environment by following hygiene standards and procedures

Average hourly rate over three week shift cycle - £11.01 per hour

Job Types: Full-time, Fixed term contract

Salary: £11.02 per hour
