About the role:

As a Data Analyst, you’ll find yourself working to drive business intelligence to aide commercial decision-making. You will assist the Finance Director and be involved in creating reports, dashboards, websites.

Main Duties

• Proactively interpret data, analyse results, interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets using statistical techniques and provide ongoing reports and executive summaries to key stakeholders
• Work with department heads to prioritise business and information needs
• Locate and define new process improvement opportunities
• The inputting and analysis of data using Excel
• Checking and validating results using various tools
• Summarising and explaining processed results
• Formatting and presenting data sets from multiple sources
• Manipulating and linking data sets
• Produce performance dashboards and reports
• Support the development of other systems

Job Details

Basic Salary of £25,000 to £35,000 per annum based on experience

Required Skills

• Excellent communication skills
• Good analytical problem solving skills
• An eye for detail with an ability to extract data available accurately and analyse to present greater insight and understanding that can help decision making
• Excellent working knowledge of MS Excel, PowerPoint to apply analytical and reporting skills through using these tools
• Strong knowledge of and experience with reporting packages (Power BI etc), databases (SQL etc)
