Accounts Assistant

As we continue to grow, an exciting opportunity has arisen to join our expanding Accounts Department as an Accounts Assistant at our offices in Leigh-on-Sea, Essex.

The Accounts Assistant will be involved in the day-to-day processing for a number of companies, including posting invoices, and preparing Bank Reconciliations.

They will be proficient in the use of Excel and must be comfortable with handling and organising large sets of data. They will report directly to the Head of Client Accounting on all matters. This candidate must be a positive, self-motivated team player who takes ownership of their work. Being a good listener and meticulous attention to the details is imperative whilst being well organised to manage a demanding workload.

Ideally, we are looking for candidates who are AAT qualified or working towards this qualification.

Your responsibilities will include:

· Raising sales invoices

· Processing supplier invoices

· Bank reconciliations

· Dealing with financial paperwork and filing

· Assist with banking when required.

Salary is negotiable, dependent on experience.
