Drivers Mate

Here’s a little more information on the role…

The role is working for a well-known furniture retailer as a Drivers Mate delivering furniture as a 2 man team to customers properties. You will complete the delivery POD system and call the customer giving one hours notice priory to the delivery. Whilst at the customers properties you will be assembling the furniture in the room of choice and removing all the packing whilst treating the customers and their properties with respect.

You don't need to be able to drive for this role. You just need to be able to get to the warehouse for the shift times.

What is the role of a Drivers Mate?

• Working as part of a 2 man team
• Manual handling and lifting large furniture
• Wrapping furniture and getting it ready for loading and delivery
• General housekeeping duties around the warehouse

What would your shifts be as a Drivers Mate?

Working a 46 hour week which includes 30 mins unpaid meal relief each shift. The shifts work on a 3 week rolling rota, working 06:00-18:00 4 days a week.

How much will you get paid as a Drivers Mate?

• £10.42 per hour
