HOURS: Typical shifts 5am-10am, 5 days out of 7

REPORTING TO: Executive Housekeeping Manager

LOCATION: The Rabbit Hotel & Retreat

SALARY: £11.92 per hour with a payscale in place increasing to £12.92 per hour after 6 months

About the role:

We are seeking to recruit a new early-morning cleaner to join our team @ The Rabbit! Your main focus will be to clean all public areas of the hotel including the bar/restaruant areas, function suites, and spa areas ensuring all are clean for the arrival of our guests.

Job Description:

Main duties will include, but are not limited to:

• Cleaning and servicing all public areas as directed by Housekeeping Supervisor and/or Manager.
• Complete tasks such as vacuuming, sweeping and mopping floors, dusting and polishing furniture and fixtures plus a variety of other cleaning tasks.
• Using disinfectants and steam-operated sterilizers if required.
• Adhering to all safety and personal protective equipment, practices, and procedures.
• Working within the guidelines of Health, Safety, Fire, and Hygiene operatives to ensure all staff and guests are safe at all times.
• Maintaining clear, efficient communication with the front-of-house team ensuring all public areas are serviced in a timely fashion and ready for our hotel guests.

We would love for you to have some similar previous experience, but this is not essential as full training will be provided. We welcome applications from people with general cleaning experience or transferrable skills.

Applicant Criteria:

• Must have excellent attention to detail.
• Work well under pressure and be an excellent team player.
• Must be able to take their own initiative and work independently.
• Previous hospitality experience (desirable).
• Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience (desirable).
