Forward Logistics is an intrastate and interstate motor carrier specializing in Loose Cargo Load (LCL), Full Container Load (FCL), Full Trailer Load (FTL), oversized cargo, and special project cargo delivery. In human words, we move cargo from point A to point B on the road with a truck.

ARE YOU ONE OF US?

This position belongs to the Operations Team and reports to the President. This position is responsible for assignment of routes and dispatching of drivers to obtain optimum use of facilities, equipment, and drivers.

Requirements:

• Oversee delivery arrangements and transportation routes.
• Assign and dispatch drivers with pick up and delivery of shipments.
• Communicate with drivers and operation team on issues arised.
• Maintain fleet equipment to operate within guidelines.
• Review escalated discrepancies and issues in daily operations.
• Collaborate with various team members to ensure customers’ satisfaction as top priority.
• Assume other responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Minimum three years of experience in trucking field.
• Team leadership and project management experience.
• Excellent crisis management skills and exceptional interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational and analytical skills.
• Strong ability to multi-task and to prioritize in a fast paced environment.
• Proficient computer skills and professional e-mail etiquette.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.
• High school graduate required. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Proficiency in Chinese (Cantonese / Mandarin) is required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $26.00 - $35.00 per hour
