About us:
Our nursery; known as Hawthorn House overlooking the fields beyond. The nursery has excellent transport connections from Lichfield, Burntwood and Cannock.
Job Position:
We are looking to recruit an experienced one to one nursery assistant to help promote the child's educational, emotional, and social development, Experience with special needs in an early years setting is essential.
Fixed term contract - 25 hours a week. SEN experience is desirable with Autism experience
Responsibilities:
- The care and supervision of children with regard to their physical, emotional and intellectual needs.
- Working on planning and preparation of activities, to meet children’s individual needs and working targets, liaising with parents and external professionals ensuring effective communication at all times
- Assist with the delivery of the Early Years Foundation Stage framework
- Take part in delivering the highest standards of care
What we need from you?
- Passion and commitment for working in childcare
- Ability to work shifts between 7.30-6.30pm Monday to Friday, 25 hours per week
