Position Overview & Specifications

Position: Packing Assistant
Salary: £10.70ph plus 22% shift allowance – £13.05ph
Location: Horsham
Hours: Monday to Friday 2pm – 10.15pm

The position is based in the Warehouse and requires the individual to work in accordance with documented procedures / standards in order to complete duties within the allotted timescales and to customer specification. This is a fast paced position that constantly requires a high volume of productivity and accuracy. The industry sector demands strict quality, product integrity and high levels of accuracy. This can involve working in cold areas operating at temperatures of 2 to 8 degrees and applicants need to be able to work in this environment.

Responsibilities

Packing goods in temperatures of 15-25C and 2-8c.
Packing specific products according to given instructions
Ensuring products are packed efficiently
Reporting all out of stocks to Senior Member of staff
Maintain a high level of quality control at all times
Performing all tasks within set KPI’s

Minimum Qualifications:

Able to work in cold conditions of 2 to 8 degrees
Ability to work to deadlines
Accuracy
