Light Assembly Operative

Do you currently work in a production or light assembly position and are looking for a new ongoing role?

First Call Contract Services are currently looking to recruit a number of Production / Light Assembly Operatives for our clients busy operation based in Nottingham, NG7.

Immediate interviews & starts are available.

Role Summary:

We are currently looking for a number of light assembly staff to maintain a fleet of shared electric vehicles. This role is ideal for candidates who have used small hand tools or have an interest in mechanics and assembly.

Main Responsibilities:

Ensure operational compliance and safety of all small electrical vehicles.
Perform a variety repair from basic maintenance to electronic parts.
Maintain and abide by safety and hygiene standards within the warehouse.
Safely operate a pallet jack and / or pushcart on a frequent basis.
General warehouse duties.

Essential Skills:

Some experience of light assembly, production or manufacturing work.
Ability to operate a mobile device.
Good communicator with the ability to read complex instructions and also follow instructions.
Willingness to learn as full training will be provided.

Hours of work are Monday to Friday, 8am to 4pm or 9am to 5pm.

Starting salary is £11.50 per hour.
