Fergusons Transport are looking to recruit a LOGISTICS PLANNER to join our automotive logistics team serving blue-chip customers in the North-East of England.
We are a successful family-owned business which is proud to serve the region offering a wide range of logistics / warehousing solutions to various sectors.
This Logistics Planning opportunity, based at Washington, will see the successful applicant working closely with automotive customers and suppliers.
Applicants MUST have advanced working knowledge of Excel: meaning possess the skills to use spreadsheets, tables, calculations and automation efficiency to process large quantities of data relevant to the planning of car component parts delivery to Nissan. Proficiency in using formulas / other features of Excel for handling complex tasks is essential.
The role may involve cross functional team working so applicants must be flexible. Confident communication skills at all levels enabling creation of strong relationships with suppliers and customers are needed.
We are willing to consider applicants with limited experience (including new to the market Graduates) provided they have the right skill set.
