Assistant Product Developer Role

The Company
A leading Food Manufacturer is currently looking to recruit an Assistant Product Developer to join their NPD team on a permanent basis.
The Role
As Assistant Product Developer you will be assisting in the development of products from concept, trials and all the way through to launch.
You will liaise with production and other departments across the business to ensure everything is compliant, effective and meeting the customers' expectations during the development process. You’ll also be writing internal recipes & costings, supporting with samples, paperwork and product trials.
The successful Product Developer will be responsible for supporting the innovation team, managing multiple tasks and working to deadlines.
This opportunity offers exposure to all areas of the business, a variety of product introductions as well as some customer interaction.
The Person
We are looking for someone that has a passion for the food industry that is interested in concept development.
However, you will need to have a real thirst to learn and drive your career forward with an enthusiastic, resourceful & proactive nature.
You’ll need to be confident and a foodie with great organisation and project management skills in order to help create and launch successful products into the market place. You’ll also need to have good communication skills as you’ll be liaising with internal teams and customers.
Being extremely organised, willing to get stuck in and drive to progress are essential.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: £18,000.00-£23,000.00 per year
