Contracts Engineer

Extraction Solutions Ltd are an industry leading supplier of dust and fume extraction systems. We design, supply, install, and maintain dust extraction systems across varying industries. An opportunity has arisen for a contracts/projects engineer to join our expanding team. Ideally suited to those with experience in a similar role designing and implementing turnkey solutions.

Once handed a project from the sales engineer, you will be responsible for communicating with customers and installation engineers to ensure projects run smoothly on time and budget. Duties will include checking designs, purchasing of equipment, completion of installation drawings, and overseeing commissioning.

The Role:

The successful candidate will be required to travel to customers to complete on-site measuring and discuss project and system details. You will create 2D CAD drawings based on your site sketches, and produce installation drawings for the on-site team to work from. During the project you with co-ordinate with both the customer and installation manager throughout the project and resolve any issues that may arise. Once complete you will be responsible for creating O&M manuals and completing a commissioning report.

The ideal Candidate:

· Onsite Measuring and 2D CAD drawings from site sketches

· Checking of system design and details

· Communicate with customers and installation team

· Commission project and trouble shoot any issues.

Skills Required

· CSCS/IPAF qualification ideal but not necessary (can be provided to successful candidate)

· Proficient using Auto-Cad and Microsoft office tools

· Well organised, attentive to detail

· Good communication skills

· Great customer service

· Presentable and professional at all times, and able to work under pressure

· Full Clean UK Driving Licence

· Technical knowledge of Dust extraction systems preferred

Salary - £30-35k + OT based on experience
