IT Infrastructure and Network Engineer

Are you an experienced IT Infrastructure and Network Engineer, we currently have a position available working from our Warrington HQ To assist with business as usual, 2nd & 3rd line IT support with the occasional IT Project support

What we are looking for:

Designing and implementing new network solutions and/or improving the efficiency of current networks
Installing, configuring and supporting network equipment including routers, switches, WiFi, DNS and DHCP
Custodian of the network estate within Certas which consists of 113 sites across the UK and Ireland
Working alongside Azure infrastructure engineers to maintain Azure networking technologies
Maximising network performance through ongoing monitoring and troubleshooting using Solarwinds
Provide support for all Telephony and VoIP systems when required
Relevant Degree or HND in Computer Science/IT Support (or other relevant skills/experience) with experience in an IT support environment.
Knowledge of Cisco device configuration (meraki switches, routers and WiFi, CCNA Desirable)
Knowledge of Solarwinds
Strong network diagnostics skills
Knowledge of Azure based application delivery controllers
Strong understanding of TCP/IP-based network and routing protocols (e.g. OSPF, BGP etc.)
Keen interest to develop themselves in Azure based IaaS, PaaS, SaaS services
