Position Overview & Specifications
Ethelbert Children’s Services offer an excellent opportunity for an individual to join our main Administration Team, based at our Head Office in Ramsgate, Kent.
We require a highly motivated and versatile Administrative Assistant to work on a full time basis as part of a team providing comprehensive administrative support to the Fostering and Residential Teams.
The successful candidate will work 3 days for the Fostering Department and 2 days for the Residential Department. This role would suit an outgoing and confident individual with a minimum of 1 years’ admin experience.
Job Responsibilities include but not limited to:
· Support the Registered Manager and Supervising Social Workers with confidential Typing/Administration
· Maintain Diary
· Document Co-ordination
· Record Keeping/Data Input
· Proof Reading
· Minute Taking
· Reception Duties
· General Admin Duties
Requirements:
· Experience in an administration role of 1 year
· Excellent communication skills – build relationships across departments
· Confidence to communicate with external personnel and agencies
· Ability to manage and prioritise workload
· Accurate typing skills and attention to detail
· Handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain confidentiality
· Strong organisational and time management skill
· Proficient use of MS Office – Word, PowerPoint, Excel with an aptitude to learn bespoke inhouse programme such as CHARMS and Sharepoint
