Site Operative

Esprit is a growing Warehouse & Logistics company based in Trafford Park, Manchester.

Due to the continued success of the business, we are looking for an additional Site Operative to take up a full-time, permanent position on one of our customer sites.

The role is based on a wheat processing site in Trafford park, in which they produce many products including flour, bran, gluten, animal feed and more. The role of Esprit is to manage several operations during the refinery process.

As a site operative, your main duties will include loading bulk material, tipping trailers, shunting, weighbridge operations, booking drivers in/out, sampling & testing the wheat, data inputting, industrial cleaning, ship offloading; and general ad hoc services.

The site operates a very strict health and safety regime, that must be adhered to and respected at all times.

The shifts will rotate on a 5-week basis as follows and this is averaged out so you are paid 43.42 hours per week:

2 x Early Shifts: Monday - Friday 5am - 1pm (No weekends).

1 x Late Shifts: Monday - Thursday: 12pm - 8pm. Friday: 12pm - 6pm & Saturday 6am - 1pm.

1 x Late Shifts: Monday - Thursday: 12pm - 8pm. Friday: 12pm - 6pm (No weekends)

1 x Mid-Shift: Monday - Friday: 6am - 2:30pm & Sunday 7am - 12pm.

The successful candidate will be computer literate, reliable, enthusiastic, have great attention to detail, and above all, honest.
