Position Overview & Specifications

Critical Care Assistant
Band 3

An opportunity has arisen for Band 3 Critical Care Assistant to join our Critical Care Team (ICU/HDU). The role predominantly focuses on stock & equipment management & administrative duties.

This base site for this post is St.Helier Hospital.

Critical Care consists of 21 beds across 2 acute hospital sites. St.Helier ICU comprises of 15 mixed level 2 & level 3 beds.

Working patterns are Monday to Fridays days.

In order to fulfil the job role, learning & development requirements, & service needs applicants may be required to work across both hospital sites.

The Critical Care Team prides itself on having dedicated, enthusiastic, highly skilled & quality driven staff.

You will be highly motivated & willing to work within our well-established multi-disciplinary team, providing excellent clinical support to our patients and their families, as well as contributing to the smooth running of our Critical Care Units.

We will support you to develop your confidence & competence through a programme of supervised practice, bespoke critical care training.

The role predominantly focuses on stock & equipment management & administrative duties.

Epsom and St Helier University Hospitals NHS Trust provides a range of medical services to approximately 490,000 people living across southwest London and northeast Surrey. In addition, we provide more specialist services, in particular renal and neonatal intensive care, to a wider area, covering parts of Sussex and Hampshire.
