Forklift Truck Driver / Yards Person

THE COMPANY: Envico Engineering Ltd is a continually growing company who is a market leader in their specialised fields with 46 years of manufacturing in the Swansea area. We design and manufacture GRP housings amongst other diverse products with a client base that includes the Utilities and Construction Industy sectors.

As Envico continues to thrive and our client base expands we have an exciting opportunity for a Forklift Truck Driver/Yards Person. The successful applicant will be a key part of our team in Llansamlet.

THE ROLE: Your main duties will include the safe unloading of vans, rigid and artic sized lorries and loading despatch lorries with telehandler/counterbalance forklift truck, checking deliveries are accurate against delivery notes, moving raw materials and finished goods throughout all departments to ensure the continuous flow of operations and to improve efficiencies. You will also be responsible for keeping the yard neat and organised, alongside keeping accurate daily machinery inspection reports and highlighting defects to Supervisor/Manager.

REQUIRED SKILLS: Forward thinking and adaptable with a desire to identify improvement opportunities, able to carry out instructions and think on feet to adapt to changing requirements, good communication skills,

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENT: Counterbalance and Telehandler licence to RTITB or equivalent standard (we are unable to accept site licenDses)

HOURS OF WORK: Monday to Thursday 06:00 - 14:30 and Friday 06:00 - 14:00, 40 hours per week, overtime available, occasional weekend work will be required.
