Thanks to a continually increasing workload through our partnership with industry leading clients across the business we are looking to appoint 3 civil / structural engineers to our EPC division across the North of England. These roles are integral to the delivery of a large new project starting in the Cleckheaton office but will also contribute to the long-term growth of the EPC offering. There is great opportunity for development and progression as well as working alongside a multi-discipline team of engineers at the forefront of their sector.

The key responsibilities of the role are:

Carry out civil and structural design work in line with client and project requirements. Design work will be carried out from initial concept work through to detailed design and build.
Carry out site surveys and client visits as required to assess the needs of the project, develop scope of works and integrate with other teams.
Work alongside other disciplines to develop the design in keeping with the needs of other services and equipment.
Work closely with both client teams and sub-contractors / main contractors.

The EPC division of Engenda Group provide Engineering Consultancy services in Project management, Construction Management, Process Engineering, & Engineering Design for: Instrument, Electrical, Mechanical, Piping, Civil and Structural. Our expertise spans a range of process industries including Chemicals, Oil, heavy industrial and Pharmaceutical.

For Contractors –

We will be offering industry leading rates of pay – dependent on experience. The role has been assessed as ‘outside IR35’ for Ltd company workers but we can also accommodate PAYE or Umbrella workers. This will be a long-term assignment which can lead onto further projects for the right people.

What we are looking for in you –

Degree qualified, preferably with chartered status.
7+ years’ experience within civil / structural design.
Experience of site surveys and client interaction.
Experience of working within chemical, oil & gas or process sectors would be preferable but not essential, as would top tier COMAH knowledge.
