Civil / Structural Designer
Permanent or Contract
Cleckheaton (Bradford) OR Runcorn OR Immingham (Hull)

Thanks to a continually increasing workload through our partnership with industry leading clients across the business we are looking to appoint 3 civil / structural designers to our EPC division across the North of England. These roles are integral to the delivery of a large new project starting in the Cleckheaton office but will also contribute to the long-term growth of the EPC offering. There is great opportunity for development and progression as well as working alongside a multi-discipline team of engineers at the forefront of their sector.

The key responsibilities of the role are:

Carry out civil and structural design work in line with client and project requirements. Design work will be carried out from initial concept work through to detailed design and build.
Work alongside other disciplines to develop the design in keeping with the needs of other services and equipment.

Supporting the Lead Civil and Structural Engineer, you will be responsible for the production of the Civil and Structural designs on a large-scale chemical project.
Interpret general arrangement drawings, scopes of work and develop them into engineering designs

The EPC division of Engenda Group provide Engineering Consultancy services in Project management, Construction Management, Process Engineering, & Engineering Design for: Instrument, Electrical, Mechanical, Piping, Civil and Structural. For Contractors –

We will be offering industry leading rates of pay – dependent on experience. The role has been assessed as ‘outside IR35’ for Ltd company workers but we can also accommodate PAYE or Umbrella workers. This will be a long term assignment which can lead onto further projects for the right people.

What we are looking for in you –

7+ years experience within civil / structural design.
Experience of working alongside a team of engineers and being able to progress and develop the design work in line with the needs of the team.
Experience of working within chemical, oil & gas or process sectors would be preferable but not essential, as would top tier COMAH knowledge.
