Translation Project Coordinator

Salary: £20,000 Dependant on Experience

Location: Hull

A fantastic opportunity to join a team of language specialists within a highly skilled team. You will work to support the internal projects of the company in a fast paced environment. The role will involve working with a diverse group of people day to day and requires confident management and planning of projects.

THE ROLE:
You will be dealing with a wide range of the translation services that the company offers and will have to see projects through from start to finish. The role is very busy so you must be easily adaptable to the fast paced environment. Problem solving, organisation and communication skills are highly important in this role.

Duties include...
Planning, scheduling and monitoring translation projects.
Sourcing and coordination of translators and other language professionals including negotiation.
Proofreading and QA-checking of translations.
Effective communication with clients, linguists and colleagues to ensure customer. satisfaction including answering incoming calls from clients in a professional and courteous manner.
Understand and abide by individual project instructions.
Data entry.
Work effectively in a team driven environment.
Dealing with emails from clients and translators to maintain good relationships.

THE CANDIDATE:
The candidate must have excellent communication skills, both written and oral. The ability to stay calm and organised in busy situations and approach challenges with a positive attitude. Attention to detail is critical within this role and must be held to the highest standard. You must be committed to deliver the highest level of customer service and be comfortable with IT systems.
