Position Overview & Specifications

Eden Brown Synergy are currently looking for an experienced and motivated Qualified Social Worker to join Children Protection & Court team in Sandwell Council.

Your daily responsibilities will include:

Undertaking Initial Assessments
Undertaking Core Assessments
Undertaking Child Protection Enquiries
Undertaking Pre-Birth Assessments
Undertaking Parenting Assessments
Undertaking assessments
Undertaking Risk Assessments
Completion of Section 7 reports requested by Family Courts
Completion of Section 37 reports requested by Family Courts
Providing Section 17 support to families and children in need
Carrying out home visits for monitoring purposes/ to promote the welfare of and to safeguard the children

Essential Requirements:

Social Work Qualification - Degree or equivalent
At least 2 years' experience as a social worker within children's services
Social Work England Registration
Driving license and access to own vehicle
