Position Overview & Specifications
Eat a pitta is home to Bristol's best falafel. We are a leading brand in the vegan/vegetarian quick service restaurant sector with a regional footprint. Eat a pitta is an independent company with big ambitions, we currently operate from 6 locations, and now looking to expand into other cities. You will be focused in our HQ/production site with fully operational autonomy over the entire production process. Our production team is responsible for making over 1000kg of fresh food everyday and delivering it to our stores so you be managing a crucial part of the business and very much be a part of the core team.

Tasks*
- Plan and draw up a production schedule ( According to season).
- Decide on and order the resources that are required and ensure stock levels remain adequate.
- Select equipment and take responsibility for its maintenance ( Create maintenance checklist).
- Set the quality standards ( Quality check before product goes to consumers).
- Ensure that the production will be cost effective by estimating costs and negotiating and agreeing prices with suppliers. (Strong negotiation skills)
- Monitor the production processes and adjust schedules as needed. ( Rotas)
- Organise the repair of any damaged equipment.
- Liaise with different departments, teams and companies, e.g. suppliers, office team and managers.
- Ensure that health and safety guidelines are followed at all times.
- Ensure store orders are completed on time and everything is delivered.
- Work with kitchen management team to implement the company's policies and goals.
- Collate and analyse data, putting together production reports for the office meetings.
- Supervise and motivate a team of workers.
- Review worker performance and identify training needs.
- Make sure that rotas are up to date and timesheets are approved. (Daily basis)
- Keep company vehicles in good condition.
- Keep on top of your own rota 40hrs per week as a minimum. (Lead by example)
- Act decisively and solve staff or equipment-related problems.
- Attention to detail to ensure high levels of quality.
- Make sure that the warehouse is always clean, tidy and well-organised. (Checklists must be followed on a daily basis.)
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: £40,000.00-£45,000.00 per year
