Education Coordinator (2 positions)

The job itself

The Tuition Service is looking to recruit two suitably qualified and motivated teachers to the posts of education coordinator. These additional posts have been created to increase the capacity of the service to meet demand. The main purpose of the role is to ensure that pupils who are either too ill to attend school or without a school place, are in receipt of suitable interim provision and are supported back into their new education setting when in place.

The successful candidates will need to hold qualified teacher status and have experience working with vulnerable groups of children. You will also need knowledge of the statutory guidance relating to children who are too ill to attend school or have been permanently excluded from school and those with SEND. The post holders will need to travel across sites within the East Riding.
