Job Description:

DTN is looking for a Meteorologist I to join our team out of our Aberdeen or Utrecht office. This is not a remote role.

What you'd be doing:

Produce and deliver weather forecasts to key clients in various sectors by monitoring observations and evaluating weather model guidance.
Leverage in-house technology and datasets to create detailed text and graphical content for delivery to customers.
Generate timely and informative weather impact alerts during active hazardous weather events.
Quality control the integrity of forecast products being issued to customers and isolate and resolve issues impacting forecast product creation or distribution.
Develop industry understanding of impact of weather forecasts to customer operations.
