Till Volunteer

As a till volunteer in our Poole charity shop, you will be one of the store's friendly faces who will help us to provide the best customer experience whilst playing an important role in raising funds for our charity work.

The role - Till volunteer

Serving customers on the till (training provided).

- Welcoming and helping customers

- Donations and Gift Aid - welcome donors, take in donations, sign donors up to GiftAid

- Tagging and sizing of stock

- Re-stocking shop, light tidying & cleaning duties to keep the shop looking presentable and welcoming.

About you:

As a Till Volunteer you will require:

- Good numeracy skills

- Enthusiasm and a willingness to work as part of a small team

- Reliability

- Good customer service skills and a willingness to engage with customers

About Dogs Trust:

With around 1,600 dogs in our care at any one time, your support will help us to give every single one the very best care possible. While most dogs find a loving new home within about six weeks, some dogs need a little bit of extra care and love from us. Your support for these dogs can make the world of difference. Dogs Trust places huge value on the diversity that we have within our team of volunteers and supporters.
