Do you want to enjoy the summer months working in the great outdoors for a global company that is at the top of its game? DLF have R & D sites throughout Europe which require Temporary Workers for 6 months over the spring, summer and autumn to assist with the planting, sowing, harvesting and processing of seed.

DLF research stations are spread across Europe and work to create products that are productive to agriculture, provide green spaces to work and play and offer environmental services. We offer a friendly and enthusiastic team to work with in creating the grass varieties of the future.

Work will be outside in the fresh air and requires people who are physically fit, hardworking and able to work with a team of professionals who are dedicated to work to high standards. This is an ideal opportunity to see what is required in creating high quality plant products and can act as a spring board to a career in plant breeding and life sciences.

DLF are looking for temporary workers at all of our sites across Europe (Denmark, Netherlands, France, Czech, Ireland and UK) and therefore it is possible to apply for any of these countries.

What will you be doing?

Together with colleagues, you will carry out the daily tasks required to grow and produce high quality seeds and plants by:

• Planting plants in the field to produce seed crops
• Sowing seeds to produce plants and plots for evaluation
• Maintaining nurseries and multiplications
• Working in a safe, friendly, team environment.
• Working for a global company with high global values

You must enjoy working in a team environment, not afraid of hard work and be willing to work extra hours when required due to the weather dependent nature of the tasks.
