Web Designer

Digital Fuel is looking for an enthusiastic tech-savvy Web Designer to join our flock. As such, we probably shouldn’t have to tell you that you should know your way around tools like Adobe Creative Suite and Figma and that you should have a killer portfolio, but you know how these things work, so here we go!

Ideally, you have 3+ years of working as a professional designer. You are resourceful and meticulous with excellent design chops, and you relish the idea of joining our team in a fast-growing agency.

You eat and breathe design. You keep up to date with emerging design trends and web technologies but also understand where we have come from. You have impeccable typography skills, can bore others to death with your knowledge of colour theory and you’ve read Josef Müller-Brockmann’s, “Grid Systems”.

You embrace teamwork and collaboration but can also excel on your own, competently interpreting design briefs, producing beautiful concepts and deliverables, while meeting deadlines.

You love a good challenge and problem-solving is your middle name.

You understand communication is the business that we are in, have no problem communicating with stakeholders, and are comfortable both giving and receiving constructive criticism.

You are eager to keep learning new things to expand your knowledge and capabilities, and we are more than happy to help you.

You’re a wizard with Adobe Creative Suite and Figma (or comparable tools). You know how to design websites and it would be really awesome if you also know how to code websites. If you can write HTML/CSS/JavaScript/PHP, know how to build custom WordPress themes and understand modern frameworks, then you’re just the unicorn we’re looking for!

We’ll provide you with the tools you need to succeed, offer you a competitive salary based on your capabilities, give you 25 days per year of holiday time and will provide you with a benefits package. This is a flexible remote/hybrid role depending on where you are located.
