Kitchen Assistant/Cook

Life Cafes and Resorts are looking for an enthusiastic, professional and reliable Kitchen Assistant to assist our kitchen operation in Park Life Cafe, Clissold Park, London.

This is mainly a daytime, sociable hours role, however, it does include weekend work.

ABOUT YOU

You will be professional and reliable, willing to go an extra mile to deliver great food to our customers. We are looking for someone who will show a positive, can-do attitude and will make a part of a great environment to work with the team.

You will be assisting the kitchen team in food preparation, cooking and working with the front of house team to deliver a great customer service. You will have a decent understanding of working in the kitchen. Food Hygiene, Allergens and Health and Safety are top of your priority.

Duties will include:

• Ensuring that all menu items are prepared and presented according to established recipes and standards.
• Work with the café manager to deliver efficient and high quality service, guiding your fellow team members to achieve high standards of operation.
• Maintain procedures to ensure correct storage of food products, inventory, and equipment. Replenish supplies in a timely manner and minimise waste.
• Ensure that all kitchen equipment and storerooms are in proper operational condition and are cleaned on a regular basis.
