Term time only - 34 weeks

£13.22 per hour

For full time all year-round staff, we are offering a Welcome Bonus of £500* (*T&C's apply) - Pro rata to FTE

Learning Support Assistant - work patterns available:

Full time= 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday

Part time= 3-4 full days

Part time hours= 5 days a week 10am-3pm

Learning Sopport Assistant Role:

We are looking for suitably enthusiastic and committed individuals who can help students develop skills and grow into independence. You could be working in a variety of different vocational contexts which require good organisational skills and confidence using IT for administrative tasks. We are looking particularly for people who feel that they have the skills and GCSE qualifications or equivalent, to help students not only improve but also enjoy English and maths.

Learning Support Assistants must work well in a team and be able to work efficiently and effectively with other staff. Understanding of and empathy with students who have learning difficulties, are disaffected or have behavioural problems is a must to be an effective learning support assistant. Some students may have physical or medical disabilities and you may be required to undertake some personal care.
