Cleaner

Dawsongroup are recruiting for a Part Time Evening Cleaner to work permanently for our business based in Tongwell, Milton Keynes.

This is part-time, evening position working from 18:00 to 20:30.

The Part Time Evening Office Cleaner will be responsible for maintaining and upholding cleanliness and hygiene in the Head Office building, corridors, stairwells, toilets, kitchenettes.

As the Part Time Evening Cleaner you will be responsible for:

• Daily vacuuming and cleaning of office carpets, cleaning of corridors & stairwells
• Spot cleaning of flooring to remove marks as required, buffeting & periodic maintenance
• Dusting/damp wiping skirtings, window ledges, venetian blinds, cupboards, and door frames removing all marks
• Cleaning finger marks from doors, glass inserts, pictures and wall fittings
• Dusting/damp wiping radiators
• Dusting and cleaning desks, telephones office equipment
• Lifting and cleaning under where possible
• Sanitising telephones on a weekly basis
• Emptying waste containers into refuse sacks and disposing in waste container
• Disposing of confidential waste (procedure to be followed)

Daily cleaning of toilets, washrooms and kitchenette areas including:

• Cleaning toilets/pans/urinals using germicidal cleaner
• Cleaning and polishing mirrors, taps, fixtures and fittings
• Removing finger marks from doors, handles and partitions
• Spot cleaning cubicle walls
• Replenishing soap containers/toilet rolls/paper towels
• Cleaning hand basins and splash backs
• Washing kitchen sinks and work surfaces using germicidal cleaner
• Washing and drying cups/mugs in kitchenette area
