Position Overview & Specifications

Introduction

Our client is thriving in the procurement and commercial industry now!

They are looking for candidates who want to progress their career within a consultancy environment. As this is a progression role, you need to want to develop your career and have the drive to achieve this!

All candidates must be undergoing or hold a CIPS qualification. Be eligible for a SC security clearance – Hold a British nationality for 5+ years. And be willing to travel to clients and customers when required.

The individual will have the opportunity to work alongside a highly skilled team delivering best-in-class strategic procurement and contract advice, including end-to-end procurement services to one of our client’s key account clients.

Key responsibilities

Aid with Contract development/management
Provide clients and customers with procurement strategy advice.
To manage end to end procurement services.
To support business development and marketing.
Aid on hitting and achieve set targets and goals.
To support on bid preparation and proposal documentation.

Skills & experience

Contract Management.
Public Procurement.
Supply chain intelligence and market engagement.
Contract development.
Commercial modelling.
Supplier relationship management.
Must have the ability to develop key strategy.
A background in tender preparation, management and evaluation.
Experience using e-procurement software.
Major projects experience; over £50m.
Preferably possess degree related to quantity surveying, law or procurement and/or be MCIPS.
