Job Description

Darlow Lloyd (Construction) Ltd are looking to recruit a highly motivated experienced Site Manager to manage projects throughout South Wales (Merthyr, Ebbw Vale, Cardiff areas) from pre-construction through to completion.

The Site Managers role is integral to working as a team in order that we can deliver all our projects to the highest quality.

Job Description

Expectations

- Work directly / closely with the Project Manager.

- Effectively manage both subcontractors and direct labour.

- Ensure all site operations / activities are in compliance with HSE regulations and DLC policies.

- Manage quality, scheduling and finishing.

- Work closely with the rest of the project team including: Project Managers / Engineers / Commercial Team / Supervisors.

- Ensure all work is completed on time and to a very high standard.

- Maintain highest standards of health, safety and environmental management.

- Assist in preparation of weekly / monthly reports.

- Develop and maintain good working relationships with the client.

Skilled and Experience

- 3+ years experience of managing medium to large projects.

- Minimum 5+ years in the construction industry and clear demonstration of construction knowledge.

- Hold a HNC / HND / NVQ / Degree etc in Construction Management.

- Hold an in date SMSTS, CSCS Card qualification is desirable.

- A Full driving licence.

- Excellent communication skills at all levels.

- Able to influence and manage people.

- Strong managerial skills.

- Strong work ethic and desire to be part of a team.

- Strong IT skills and ability to embrace new technology and systems.

- A high degree of energy and motivation with the ability to meet tight deadlines.

- Attention to detail is essential.

- Broad understanding of construction health and safety law and legislation.
