HGV Class 2 Multi Drop

The Opportunity

We are delighted to be able to offer a HGV Class 2 Multi Drop Delivery Driver opportunity at our Depot within our team a Dee Bee Grimsby.

We are a Grimsby based family run business, focused on Delivered Wholesale and Convenience Retail Stores in the North of England.

What will I be doing?

You will be responsible for delivering and the safe movement of goods on cages and pallets from your vehicle to our Customers who are based across the North of England. These customers are a mixed base of Convenience Retailers and larger wholesalers and include both delivery into Customer premises and drop and leave.

Our customers are a mixed base of Bars, Restaurants and Pubs and Clubs, and usually include delivery into Customer premises.

Customer Service skills are a must, along with a sense of humour!

This role is physical in nature and involves as much manual handling as driving on some days.

What are the hours?

Your normal working day starts are 06.00 and you are usually back to depot by 15.00, we operate on a Monday to Friday basis, including all Bank Holidays, with the exception of 25 and 26 December and 1 January.

Must hold a Class 2 / Class C Driving licence and up to date CPC.

Salary Details

Basic Salary; £24,400.00 per annum.

Bonus; £3,185.00 per annum.

Total; £27,585.00 per annum.

We offer a starting holiday balance of 29 days per year (pro-rata dependant on start date) and other benefits too.

Minimum of 2 years Class 2 Driving experience would be preferred.
