Position Overview & Specifications
The post holder will also be expected to liaise in a professional manner with colleagues, service users and their carers and undertake a wide spectrum of Personal Assistant duties.
The post holder will be expected to manage and prioritise their own workload using experience and initiative. The post holder will work independently to provide a Personal Assistant and administrative office function, adhering to UHB policies and procedures
The post holder is expected to work flexibly to support the supervision of the Administrative Team and Services and to provide comprehensive Personal Assistant (PA) support to the Senior Nurses within the Directorate.
At all times, the post holder will be expected to manage both routine and non-routine tasks and issues using discretion, sensitivity and deal with complex/sensitive information in a confidential and professional manner. The post holder is a key member of the Health Visiting and School Nursing Team.
The post holder will handle highly confidential, sometimes very contentious and sensitive information of a personal, financial and political nature, and will therefore be relied upon to observe and comply with specific and implied confidentiality rules and policies.
Additionally, the post holder will be required to assist the Community Child Health Administration Manager with the day-to-day management of the service.
The post requires effective and efficient communication and liaison with a wide range of professional staff involved in the provision of Community Child Health Services, service users and their carers.
