Plant Area Sales Assistant

We are looking for a ‘hands on person’ to join our knowledgeable plant area team at Creative Gardens Logwood near Ballyclare. An enthusiastic person who is a good communicator, a keen gardener and has a good base knowledge of all things Plants & Gardening would be ideal! Experience within a Nursery or Garden Centre would be an advantage but not essential.

Daily tasks will involve caring for plants, helping price, rotate and merchandise plant stocks and most importantly assisting our customers, helping them find what they need and suggesting ideas for their gardens.

This role will be customer facing so it is essential that the candidate is a people person who likes to smile and will want to actively engage with our lovely customers.

This position offers approx. 20 hours per week (there is potential for more hours during busy periods) and will usually include Monday and Friday 9.30am – 5.30pm and Sunday from 12.30pm – 5.30pm

Rate of Pay: 16 – 17 £7.00/ 18 – 20 £8.00/ 21 – 22 £10.18/ 23+ £10.42
