Position Overview & Specifications
Summary
Ensure the supply of feedstock to the production lines, controlling traceability and taking responsibility for CMEX input accurately and in a timely manner. At all times ensuring productivity is not affected and communication of timely status updates are provided to Line Leaders. Meeting all Food hygiene and food safety standards within area of responsibility.
Main duties include (but not limited to):
· Ensue all feed stock has full material traceability on during any movements to and from the production lines.
· Confirm first and next products with the Line Leader
· Check with the Line Leader that the feedstock is the correct material for the product to be used.
· Responsible for all areas of CMEX, accurately and withing a timely manner
· Check the feedstock is conditioned as instructed on the Quality Attribute Sheet
· Confirm to the Line Leader that the materials are in place and ready to use.
· All trim returns to be weighed then booked into the job on Armour guard.
· All materials to be delivered in a controlled fashion "hand to mouth" whilst minimising any lost productivity from waiting for materials.
· Book any return trim materials into job on Armour guard.
· Ensure work area compliant to walk away standards.
· Ensure you are aware of all fire exits in all areas you may work and be sure to understand the emergency evacuation procedure and nominated fire marshals.
· Adhere to all rules, processes and procedures in relation to the work process and conduct as set out by the Despatch department and other key disciplines such as Production Management, Health and Safety, Human Resources, Technical and Hygiene.
· Any other reasonable request as instructed by your line manager.
Requirements, experience and person specification:
· Previous manufacturing experience
· Previous experience of working with machinery
· Ability to problem solve.
· A high level of numeracy skills
· Forward thinking and planning skills
· Stacker truck licence preferablle
