Pot Washer

Countrystyle Meats is a family run business and we are looking for a pot washer either Full or Part Time on a rota basis to work in our busy butcher’s area / and our restaurant kitchen at our Lancaster Leisure Park facilities.

The ideal candidate will be someone who likes to get stuck in and can work under pressure and consistently maintain high standards of hygiene in accordance with food hygiene regulations? We need a team player with excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

· Ensure basic cleaning jobs are conducted as quickly as possible.

· Wash pots, pans, and equipment

· Clean work surfaces and equipment to the required high standard

· Keep work surfaces, walls, and floors clean and sanitised.

· Work safely around equipment and report any maintenance issues.

Essential Skills

· Proven experience in a pot wash role (essential)

· Team player who can support others but also confident in their own ability.

· Hard working and motivated

· Confident, capable, and calm under pressure

· Work to a high standard complying with Food Hygiene Regulations

· Health & Safety compliant

Must be flexible and be able to work weekends and Bank Holidays as part of a rota.
