The Role

As a Support Practitioner, you'll play a crucial role in supporting individuals with all aspects of daily living, including cooking, support to activities and appointments, managing personal finances, assisting with medication and personal care. With your guidance and care, you'll help the people we support be an active member of their local community.

It would be great if you had a full driving licence and have access to your own vehicle, however, this isn't a deal breaker!

To be a great Support Practitioner, you will be:

  • a great listener with a warm, friendly personality
  • able to demonstrate exceptional communication skills
  • able to build and maintain positive, respectful relationships with lots of different types of people
  • competent in the use of technology to enhance the support you provide
  • creative and proactive with a positive, can-do attitude
  • reliable and flexible to meet the needs of the people we support

Shift Patterns

Our dedicated CS team provide support across 7 days, with shifts between 10am-to 4pm, 2.30pm to 7.30pm and 12pm until 9pm. There maybe times where evening shifts end a little later at night depending on activities. Weekends and public holidays will be included in your rota.

Shortlisted candidates will be invited to an interview on Monday 1st May 2023 at our Irvine office.

Do you have any questions? To find out more, please contact Caroline MacDonald on 0770854939.

If you’re successful in joining our team, you will be expected to join the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme and must be willing to work towards a SVQ in Social Services and Healthcare as required for SSSC registration.
