Junior Data Scientist

Hybrid Working: 3 days a week in the London office

Salary: Up to £58k + bonus + benefits (Based on experience)

Job Description:

A prestigious asset management firm is looking for a proactive, team-orientated and ambitious Junior Data Scientist to join their company to work directly with their performance and risk team in order to analyse the entire performance and risk portfolio.

The Junior Data Scientist will need to be hands-on with the role revolving around developing scripts and automating data pipelines using Python and also working with large datasets to extract, transform and load data using SQL Server.

Key skills/experience required for the role:

• Good Python knowledge for data analysis e.g. Pandas, NumPy
• Strong statistical analysis and data modelling skills
• Good knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server
• Excellent problem solving skills

You will stand out if you also have:

• Previous experience working for an asset manager, hedge fund or investment bank
• Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and ETL processes
• Bloomberg experience
