Residential Childcare Worker

We are looking for staff to support a Residential Children’s Home in Bedford, we also have work available in the surrounding areas. The rate of pay is between £13.70-£15.00 per hour, we have day and night shifts available, full time and part time hours, flexible working patterns.

This is a rewarding opportunity supporting young people, often from difficult backgrounds, providing care and emotional support as well as supporting with behavioral problems. Duties include supporting in the home, with activities and outings, supporting with meals and chores and ensuring the best care for the children in the home.

You may be required to go on day trips and outings as well as providing some essential life skills such as cooking, cleaning, educational resources and be providing pastoral support, while being supported by permanent staff members.

Completely Care provide free refresher training.

The applicant should have training and experience in care, ideally working with young people and a a qualification in Residential Children’s Work would be advantageous.
