Cheeky Munkey Ltd are an IT Managed Service Provider, successfully running for over 20 years and currently supporting over 150 companies. The successful candidate will be joining our ever-growing, friendly, and enthusiastic team of nearly 40 employees and working with a variety of clients from different industries across the country.

Project Coordinator Role
We are seeking a confident, organised Project Coordinator with outstanding customer service skills to coordinate our thriving Professional Services department. Reporting to the Professional Services Manager and working with a team of highly skilled engineers, the Project Coordinator will primarily be responsible for planning, coordinating, and closing projects to a high standard in accordance with deadlines and within budget.

As the Project Coordinator you will be required to maintain a high level of constant communication with clients, suppliers, and internal staff to ensure the smooth and efficient delivery of projects, so strong communication skills are vital to this role, in addition to project management/coordination experience. As this role involves coordinating IT projects, some technical knowledge and/or experience within the IT industry would be preferable.

Additional responsibilities include some administrative duties which include checking timesheets are submitted on time, scheduling non-project work & project support activities.

Key Responsibilities

· Confirming the scope of projects with both internal and external stakeholders

· Designing and controlling the project schedule within our PSA, ConnectWise

· Liaising with the sales and procurement teams, ensuring all licensing and hardware are purchased within project timelines

· Coordinating and scheduling work for the IT engineers

· Monitoring the progress and budget of ongoing projects through to completion

· Monitoring and scheduling service tickets on the Professional Services board

Essential Skills Required

  • Basic computer skills, including competent use of Microsoft products such as Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Strong interpersonal skills; including verbal and written communication & telephony skills

· Excellent time management and organisational skills, along with great attention to detail

  • Previous administrative experience
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritise and adapt quickly in a demanding environment
  • Self-motived and keen to learn other aspects of the business
  • Able to work within a team and liaise directly with internal team members to meet company goals

Highly Desirable Experience and Qualifications:

  • Experience of working in a Managed Service Provider (MSP)
  • Exposure to PMO duties, Project Coordination or Project Management experience
  • PRINCE2 or other formal project management certification

It would also be great if you had…

  • Worked in the IT industry with a basic understanding of IT solutions (e.g. hardware, backup solutions, networking concepts, telephony, cloud products, Office suite, etc.)
  • ITIL Qualification
  • An understanding of formal Project Management methodologies
